I'm Alannah - the owner and founder of Akila K9 Training, established in 2022. I have always had a passion for dogs, growing up around them as a child. I am now the proud owner of two German Shepherd Dogs; Two year old show line GSD Nala and working line GSD puppy Nero, who take up the majority of my spare time - and that's just the way I like it! Nala is my original business partner and you will often see her stooging in 121 sessions. Nero is stepping into the world of American sport - PSA (Protection Sport Association). 

I have achieved a distinction in Level 3 Diploma in Canine Behaviour with Centre of Excellence as well as completing a Canine First Aid aid and Professional Dog Walker accreditation with British College of Canine Studies. I spend a lot of time researching different training methods, attending workshops and networking with other trainers to further my knowledge. 

Akila K9 Training is located in Felmingham, North Walsham with 1-2-1 sessions held at our training facility. Home visits can be arranged, with an added surcharge due to travel. Whether you are struggling with reactivity, recall, general obedience or need some assistance with welcoming your new puppy into your life - I am here to help! I believe that solid basic foundations are key to a happy, healthy, confident and well-balanced dog. I understand that dog ownership and training isn't one size fits all which is why each session is tailored to your dog's needs.
