Professional Dog Walking Service

At Akila K9 Walking, we don't just offer a basic walk around the block; instead, we pride ourselves on providing a premium service for North Walsham dog walking. Your dog will have the opportunity to do exactly what they love: sniff, run, and play! We offer structure, exploration, fun, correct socialisation, and, of course, some dog training thrown in for good measure! We focus on handler engagement, lead walking, impulse control, and manners. For those still working on their recall, we have plenty of long lines available to help them practice!

Your dog's safety is our priority, which is why each dog is securely transported in our crated and ventilated van. Your dog may be with us for up to 2 hours on group walks to allow for pickups and drop-offs. Fresh clean water, towels, and plenty of treats are all provided.

We venture to lots of different walk locations, whether it be the beach, the woods, or the heath, so that your dog never gets bored. Each walk is tracked via an app using GPS, and we take plenty of photos to send you so you can see what your dog has been up to!

Please note that we do not offer ad-hoc walking. You must enrol your dog in a minimum of one professional dog walking service per week to retain a space.

Dog Walker

My love for dogs began with teaching our family dogs fun tricks as a child, which evolved into a deep appreciation for all that dogs can do. Five years ago, I welcomed my Siberian husky, Kody, who truly ignited my passion for dog training. A year later, I got my border collie, Arrow, who has taught me more about dog behavior, the significance of relationship building, and the role of play than all my other dogs combined. With two active breeds, I spend most of my time enjoying long countryside walks in North Walsham with them or engaging in fun trick training sessions with Arrow, making the most of our professional dog walking experiences.

Group Walks - 1 Hour

Enjoy safe, social, and stimulating outdoor exercise with our professional dog walking service, featuring small group dog walks limited to up to six dogs per group. Our North Walsham dog walking sessions ensure that dogs are carefully matched by temperament and location, with each dog undergoing an individual assessment—some may need a few one-to-one walks for effective dog training before joining the group.

Each walk lasts one hour, although dogs may be out for up to two hours to accommodate travel, pick-up, and drop-off.

We vary the locations to keep every walk fresh and engaging. Two dogs from the same household are welcome for £28.

Solo Walk & Train - 1 Hour

Our Solo Walk & Train service is designed for dogs who thrive on dedicated one-on-one attention—whether they are reactive, working through behavioral challenges, or simply excel with individual focus. Each session is tailored to enhance your dog’s confidence and skills while building a strong, positive relationship with their walker or trainer in North Walsham.

We prioritize engagement, structured play, and professional dog walking that includes obedience training, such as loose-lead walking, stays, recall, and other essential life skills.

Day Trekking

Give your dog the ultimate full-day outdoor experience with our premium Day Trekking service, perfect for energetic, adventure-loving dogs. This immersive outing takes them across a variety of stunning locations—from woodland trails and rolling hills to open fields, making it an excellent complement to any dog training regimen. Throughout the day, your dog will enjoy up to three thoughtfully planned treks, each tailored to the group’s energy levels and the day’s conditions—ideal for dogs who crave both the outdoors and the company of fellow explorers. Our North Walsham dog walking service ensures that your pet receives professional dog walking that enhances their socialization and exercise.

Home Boarding

£50 per night

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded a 5* boarding licence, issued by North Norfolk District Council under reference NNDC/AA058. This service is available exclusively for existing clients and is not suitable for dogs with severe behavioural issues. Additionally, we are unable to take on intact males. Please note that we are currently not accepting any new boarding clients. For those interested in our dog training services or North Walsham dog walking, we appreciate your understanding.
